2008 MIS Council Fall Conference
“Under Construction”
October 12-14
Marco Island Marriott
Marco Island, Florida
Automotive and heavy duty parts suppliers are “under construction” and trying to implement new software applications, support globalization efforts, synch with customers, integrate technology with the processes and operations that affect almost every employee and maintain service levels with leaner staffs. The 2008 Fall Conference and its theme, “Under Construction,” will help attendees focus on the strategies and tools that will help them through these challenges.
Industry leaders will present (customers, peers and solution providers) on timely topics, network opportunities will do much to help you identify common challenges among your peers, vendor sponsors will deliver solutions for industry challenges and the interactive sessions will enable best practices to surface.

What’s the Buzz About the MIS Council Fall Conference?
“The MIS Council Fall Conference is a great opportunity to interact with colleagues (Suppliers) that are focused on the Automotive Aftermarket Supply Chain. Topics go beyond basic IT issues and include many aspects related to planning and operations. The opportunity to hear directly from major customers (Customer Spotlight) provides insight into their priorities and direction for the future.”
Jim Schwinn
Director of Finance & Information Systems, Automotive Aftermarket,
Schaeffler Group NA
“I have been a regular, non-IT attendee at the MIS Council Fall Conference. As the CFO of my employer, internal controls are important to me, and IT technology always changes my approach to internal control recommendations. The knowledge gained over the past 25 years at MIS Council Conferences has been very helpful in staying abreast of these changes.”
