Doxsee named MIS council chairman

Research Triangle Park, N.C., November 15, 2005 – The MEMA Information Services Council (MIS Council) recently announced its board members for the upcoming year. Ron Doxsee, Information Services Director for Grote Industries, has assumed the position of board of governors chairman.

The board is composed of IT professionals representing aftermarket and heavy duty parts manufacturers that are members of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association or the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association. Individuals serve five-year terms before rotating off the board.

Judy Lorek, Director of Automotive Aftermarket Systems for Robert Bosch Corp., is the newest member, having been elected during the recent board meeting. Other board members include Rick Bruback, Clevite Engine Parts; Dale Swanson, Parker Hannifin; and Craig Adams, ARI.

“I want to thank Rick Bruback (past chairman) for his leadership the past four years and especially for this past year,” said Doxsee. “The MIS Council is healthy, and we are planning new value-packed initiatives for our members. Also, the addition of Judy will help us move the projects forward.”

The MIS Council board provides strategic leadership for Council activities, helps set the agenda for the annual conference and approves new projects.
